Project overview
ASTEP pioneers solar energy utilization for industrial processes, a venture funded by the EU and active from May 1, 2021, to June 30, 2025. This groundbreaking initiative aims to redefine heating systems through the Solar Heating for Industrial Processes (SHIP) concept. Collaborating with partners across Spain, Romania, Greece, England, Poland, Ireland, and Italy, ASTEP prioritizes energy efficiency and eco-conscious solutions.
Our role
In the ASTEP project, we take on a pivotal role in Exploitation Management and technological implementation. From seamless sensor integration to cutting-edge software development for data visualization, we ensure the smooth deployment of solar heating solutions. Moreover, we lead sustainability assessments, evaluating the environmental and socio-economic benefits of solar applications. Through proactive promotion, knowledge dissemination, and international collaboration, we drive the project towards impactful outcomes.
Outcome and added value
At project completion, we deliver substantial added value through the development of advanced ICT tools. By empowering industrial processes with intelligent dashboards and data analytics functions, we accelerate efficiency improvements.
